Meet Leon & Jacqueline

We're Leon & Jacqueline, the hearts and hands behind BikeVase. In 2019 we asked ourselves: "Why can't cyclists bring flowers on their journey?" So we set out to change that. Together we design, craft, and ship every BikeVase from our workshop in The Netherlands.

Each vase is handmade with care — durable, waterproof, and built to survive real rides in any weather. We believe in joy, sustainability, and beauty in the small things: turning your handlebars into a mobile garden. Because every ride deserves a little bloom.

About Our Material

All BikeVases are made from PLA plastic, a bio-based material derived mainly from renewable sources such as corn, rather than petroleum. PLA is recyclable, but despite some claims, it is not truly biodegradable under natural conditions. Studies have shown that it can take many years to break down, and only special industrial processes can achieve full degradation.

While PLA is a sustainable choice compared to conventional plastics, it does have some limitations. It is not fully UV resistant, which means colors may fade over time when exposed to direct sunlight. PLA also reacts to heat: please do not clean your BikeVase in the dishwasher or with hot water, as this may cause deformation. A simple wash with lukewarm soapy water is the best way to keep your BikeVase looking fresh.

14-Day Return Policy

We want you to feel completely confident when ordering a BikeVase. That's why we offer a 14-Day Return Policy on all orders. If your BikeVase isn't what you expected, simply let us know within 14 days of receiving it and return it in its original packaging for a refund. Please note: unless the item is defective or damaged, you are responsible for the return shipping costs.

On top of that, our 100% Refund Promise ensures peace of mind:

If your BikeVase doesn't arrive within the maximum estimated delivery time plus 21 days, you'll receive a full refund including shipping costs.

If your BikeVase arrives with severe damage (broken, deformed, or unusable), we'll replace it or refund your order. Just report the issue within 7 days with photos of the product and packaging.

For minor cosmetic damage that doesn't affect functionality, we may offer a partial refund or replacement parts.
